Rolin Jones’ comedy The Jammer has extended its off-Broadway run by an extra week. Starring Patch Darragh, the 1950s roller derby comedy will now run through February 17 at Atlantic Stage 2. Directed by Jason Gay, The Jammer officially opens January 22 and was initially scheduled to close on February 10.
The Jammer follows Jack Lovington (Darragh), a lovelorn Brooklynite, who needs to find himself and stake a claim in the world. When he joins up with the rough Brooklyn Brown Devils, little does Jack know his life is about to be turned completely upside down.
The cast of The Jammer also features Jeanine Serralles as Lindy Batello, Dan Domingues as Father Domingo, Christopher Jackson as Charlie Heartbreak, Billy Eugene Jones as Lenny Ringle, Keira Naughton as Beth Nutterman, Kate Rigg as Cindy Gums, Greg Stuhr as Bert Fineberg and Todd Weeks as Father Kosciusko.
The Jammer features set design by Wilson Chin, costume design by Jessica Ford, lighting design by Paul Whitaker and original music and sound design by Broken Chord.
